Generator Tan Delta Tester is a high-precision instrument that fully automatically measures the dielectric loss tangent and capacitance of power plants,substations and other various high-voltage power equipment on-site.
(1) Anti-interference Generator Tan Delta Tester measures the capacitance and dielectric loss factor of HV electrical equipment. It is integrated structure, built-in dielectric loss test bridge, frequency conversion adjustable power supply, boosting transformer and SF6 standard capacitor. It can also supply high voltage source for testing.
(2) Output 45Hz and 55Hz pure sine waves, provide 10kV voltage, automatically filter out 50Hz interference.
(3) Generator Tan Delta Tester is an upgraded version,large touch screen with light weight.
Measurement Circuit: Fourier transform, complex calculation and other calculations, range switching, variable frequency power supply control, etc.
Control Panel: printer, keyboard, display and communication relay.
Variable Frequency Power Supply: SPWM switching circuit is used to generate high power sine wave regulated output.
Step-up Transformer: boost the output of the variable frequency power supply to the measurement voltage, and the maximum reactive output is 2KVA / 1 min.
Standard Capacitor: internal Cn, measurement reference.
CN Current Detection: used to detect the internal standard capacitor current, 10μA ~ 1A. Input resistance is less than 2Ω.
Cx Positive Wiring Current Detection: only used for positive wiring measurement, 10μA ~ 1A. Input resistance is less than 2Ω.
Cx Reverse Wiring Current Detection: only used for reverse wiring measurement, 10μA~1A. Input resistance is less than 2Ω.
Reverse Wiring Digital Isolation Communication: adopt precision MPPM digital modem to send reverse wiring current signal to low voltage.

1. What is the length of the cables?
A: The cables length is 9 meters, the test method is according to IEC standard.
2. Why the screen shows "UNGROUND" , but the instrument still can be restarted and the test is normal.
A: This fault is caused by a ground detection error.You can ignore this error. Because China's power supply is L and N two lines. “L” is AC220V, “N” is no electricity. so the ground test is normal. But in many cases, especially in Philippines, the AC220V made up of 110V-110V. when you use such a power supply. Grounding detection will not work properly. but it will not affect the test results.
